Timestables

The children are expected to learn their times tables. We will help them do this in school but they are also expected to practise at home. They can use Times Table Rock Stars at home and in school to help them. Times tables are especially important for children in Year 4 as they will be completing the Multiplication Tables Check after May half term.
The children all have a log in and it is stuck in their reading record for save keeping. Please allow them time to practise at home - 10 minutes each day would work wonders!!
Year 3/4 Statutory Spellings
Below is a list of all spellings that all year 3/4 children should know how to read and write during Year 3 and by the end of year 4. Please practice these where possible.
We use Spelling Shed to practise spellings and all the children have a log in that stuck in their reading record for save keeping.
We no longer have weekly tests - instead we assess the children at the end of a half term. Please allow them time at home to go on to spelling shed and practise -again 10 minutes a day would be brilliant!
